Jill Marie Mason has created an installation addressing various forms of consumption entitled, Dream Palace.  The work explores the individual’s desire to attain the unattainable through the acquisition of seemingly meaningful objects and experiences.  Through the site-specific installation, Mason creates an immersive audio and visual environment for audiences to “lose themselves” while reflecting a loose correlation between the strip mall and the strip club.
